Iraq is a rich country full of culture, history, and opportunity. Unfortunately, it’s rich culture and heritage has been experienced by few the past four decades, due to the instability of war.
Within the past few years, Southern Iraq has transitioned from war recovery to development. Iraqis all over the South have been investing in continuing their education, because they know this is the key to rebuilding and developing their country.
GSN partners with Iraqis who want to rebuild their country. Our passion is to train local educators and future leaders so they can empower their fellow country men and women to make Iraq a player in the world’s academia and markets.

TEACHER WORKSHOP
Choose from multiple packages that best suit your school’s needs. Our foreign expert can meet with school administrators to observe teachers, before training, to determine strengths and areas for improvement. Our staff will walk teachers through a 1-day workshop, presenting new information to help teachers reach their greatest potential. Workshops allow time for teachers to apply new information to their current courses.
ENGLISH COURSES & TOEFL
Complete a pre-assessment to determine appropriate level. Prices include: books, 10 sessions (20 hours total) with our teachers, test, and completion certificates. We can contract to teach TOEFL. Contact us for further details.
ENGLISH FOR TOUR GUIDES

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
Teachers will be trained how to use an evaluation rubric to self-evaluate classroom effectiveness. Our staff will observe select teachers in their classrooms, evaluating based on the rubric. Once teacher evaluations are completed, teachers will join us for a 1-day seminar, introducing basic and effective teaching skills. Teachers will also learn strategies to better serve their students. Seminars include time for teachers to apply new information to their current courses. Following the training, our staff will conduct follow up observations in classrooms and compile results into a school improvement plan.
ARABIC TEACHER TRAINING
Learn how to teach Arabic to foreigners using a new yet effective program. Teachers learn to use the Gradual Participant Approach (GPA) method of teaching a foreign language. We guarantee students will form short simple sentence after 30 hours of class.
ACCREDITATION ASSISTANCE
For schools looking to pursue international accreditation we assist from beginning to the end of the process including but not limited to: the application process, self-evaluations, help prepare for on-site evaluations from accreditation committee, and support as needed.
